MANILA, Philippines — San Juan Mayor Francis Zamora has clarified that the San Juan Medical Center (SJMC) did not deteriorate during their term, noting that they have taken steps to rehabilitate the hospital so it can serve more people. In a statement on Friday, Zamora claimed that SJMC had been neglected for years before he became mayor of San Juan, noting that it had been a Level 1 Hospital for 18 years.
