MANILA, Philippines — Parts of the Visayas and Mindanao will continue to experience cloudy skies, rain and thunderstorms on Monday as trough of super typhoon Choi-wan affects the country, while Luzon is expected to have generally fair weather, the state weather bureau said. In its 5 a.m. weather forecast, PAGASA weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said Choi-wan was expected to move farther away from the Philippines and would remain outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR).
