CEBU CITY, Philippines โ The alleged abduction in Barangay Banilad, Cebu City, last May 11 that recently went viral appears to be an isolated case linked to a vehicle financing and pawn transaction, and not a kidnapping-for-ransom, according to police. Speaking with the media on Monday, May 25, Police Major Eric Gingoyon said that investigators are focusing on a person of interest (POI) who allegedly had prior business dealings with the victim.
