US revokes former House Speaker Romualdez’s visas, PH envoy confirms

MANILA, Philippines — The United States has revoked the visas of former House Speaker Martin Romualdez, Philippine Ambassador to Washington Jose Manuel “Babes” Romualdez confirmed on Friday. “We were informed. It’s a decision made by the U.S. State Department,” the ambassador told Inquirer when asked whether the Philippine Embassy had received formal communication from US authorities regarding reports of the visa revocation.
