MANILA, Philippines — National University remained the golden standard in the UAAP men’s volleyball, as the Bulldogs extended their reign to a sixth straight season. The Bulldogs saved the best for last, bringing out the brooms to sweep top seed Far Eastern University, 26-24, 25-22, 25-22, in Season 88 Finals Game 2 on Saturday at Mall of Asia Arena. Leo Ordiales led the closeout, as his fellow Alas Pilipinas stars Buds Buddin, Jade Disquitado, and Peng Taguibolos also made sure to avoid a rubber match and complete their latest title celebration.
