Teen’s journey from inland mining town to Barbados coastal rowing gold

Though she only tried the sport for the first time this year, the 18-year-old nursing student was one of several Australians taking home gold after competing in coastal rowing in Barbados, ahead of the sport's 2028 Olympic debut.
