Foreign Minister Cho Hyun met with ambassadors from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations on Thursday to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation between South Korea and Southeast Asia, officials said. During the meeting, Cho noted that people-to-people and economic exchanges between South Korea and Asean have continued to deepen, while noting active high-level exchanges, including South Korean visits made by leaders of Vietnam and Laos last year, according to the foreign ministry.
