Senate under lockdown amid NBI–Dela Rosa altercation

MANILA, Philippines — The Senate was placed under lockdown on Monday, May 11, after the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) allegedly attempted to arrest Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa. The NBI, along with former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV, reportedly entered the Senate premises to serve the arrest order from the International Criminal Court (ICC).
