[Updated May 26, 2026, 5:16 p.m.] MANILA, Philippines — The Sandiganbayan on Tuesday granted the precautionary hold departure order (PHDO) against Sen. Rodante Marcoleta, former Rep. Mike Defensor, and two other individuals. Earlier, the Sandiganbayan Seventh Division heard the PHDO petition of the Office of the Ombudsman against the respondents based on complaints of plunder and indirect bribery over an alleged campaign donation to Marcoleta worth P75 million.
