CITY OF CALAPAN, Oriental Mindoro — Residents of San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, were urged to take extra precautions on Tuesday after the town registered a heat index of 46 degrees Celsius, placing it under the “danger level” category, according to monitoring by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
