LUCENA CITY, Quezon—As part of its flood mitigation efforts during the rainy season, the local government of Taytay, Rizal has intensified dredging and desilting operations in creeks and rivers across the municipality. The Municipal Public Information Office (PIO) reported on Monday, June 1, that the Municipal Engineering Office–Flood Control Section has stepped up the cleanup of waterways in various parts of the town in preparation for the onset of the rainy season.
