MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) assigned new regional police chiefs to the Ilocos, Mimaropa, and Negros Island (NIR) regions on Friday. The appointments were made through General Order No. NHQ-GO-DES-2026-2397 dated May 7, took effect on May 8. The order named Police Regional Office Mimaropa (PRO 4B) Director, Brig. Gen. Jovencio Badua Jr., as the new chief of the Police Regional Office Ilocos Region (PRO 1).
