MANILA, Philippines — Tropical Storm Hagupit has a high chance of weakening once it reaches the Philippine Sea, the state weather bureau said on Saturday. In the 5 a.m. weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reiterated that Hagupit is expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) on Saturday. Once it enters the PAR, it will be called Caloy, the third tropical cyclone to hit the country this year, and the first one for this month.
