MANILA, Philippines — Tropical Depression Caloy is expected to weaken into a low pressure area (LPA) on Monday, the state weather bureau reported. In its Monday morning forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Caloy maintained its status as a “weak” cyclone, carrying a maximum wind speed of 45 kilometers per hour (kph) and gusts of 55 kph.
