MANILA, Philippines — Suspected shabu (crystal meth) worth P2.26 million was confiscated by law enforcers in a buy-bust operation in Quezon City early Wednesday morning, leading to the arrest of two individuals, the police said. In a statement, the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) said the suspects were caught in Barangay Del Monte at around 2:30 a.m., identifying them by the aliases “Jordan” and “Jonas,” both 31-year-old individuals. According to the police, the operation was lodged by the QCPD Masambong Station, whose personnel acted as a poseur buying P30,000 worth of suspected shabu.
