LAPU-LAPU CITY, Cebu โ Financial aid for qualified traditional and modern public utility jeepney (PUJ) drivers in Cebu will begin its rollout on Monday, May 25, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board in Central Visayas (LTFRB-7) announced. The agency said it would release P1,500 cash assistance to help drivers cope with rising fuel prices, on top of existing government subsidies. Distribution is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the LTFRB-7 office at 103 General Echavez Street, Barangay Lorega San Miguel, Cebu City.
