MANILA, Philippines — Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla on Wednesday said he wrote to Senate President Alan Peter Cayetano to enforce the six-month preventive suspension of the acting Senate sergeant-at-arms (SAA) Mao Aplasca. Remulla said he has yet to receive a reply from Cayetano. “I wrote to the Senate President because I was alarmed when I saw Aplasca still talking to the media and still appearing to hold office somewhere there,” Remulla said in a press conference.
