MANILA, Philippines — The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Thursday confirmed that it has received sworn statements from state witnesses disputing claims made by lawyer Levi Baligod regarding the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) scam. According to the NBI, the sworn affidavits were formally transmitted by the counsel of Marina Sula and Mary Arlene Baltazar—both of whom are state witnesses under the Witness Protection Program—to the office of the NBI director.
