SUBIC, Zambales — The Philippine Navy on Thursday held an official send-off for its contingent to the world’s largest international maritime exercise, with the newly commissioned BRP Miguel Malvar (FFG-06) departing from Naval Operating Base here for Hawaii. Leading the send-off ceremony was Philippine Navy Flag Officer in Command Vice Admiral Jose Ma. Ambrosio Ezpeleta. Navy personnel, support staff, and guests were also in attendance.
