BAGUIO CITY, Philippines โ The Mountain Province provincial government exceeded the national governmentโs 10-percent energy reduction target after cutting its electricity consumption by 11.05 percent in March and 34.56 percent in April this year. Energy Conservation Officer-Designate Gary Pekas reported on Monday that electricity use dropped by 4,443 kilowatt-hours (kWh) in March 2026 compared with the same month in 2025. In April, the province recorded a sharper reduction of 18,991 kWh compared with April 2025 consumption.
