Mimaropa areas under danger-level heat index on Wednesday

Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro — Several areas in the Mimaropa region are expected to experience danger-level heat index on Wednesday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa). Based on the latest heat index forecast released by the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Mimaropa, citing Pagasa data, Cuyo, Palawan, is expected to record the highest heat index at 44 degrees Celsius.
