MANILA, Philippines — After six years of being non-operational, the P774-million Estero de Sunog Apog pumping station in Manila is now working to prevent flooding in low-lying areas of Tondo district and nearby areas. President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Monday inspected the flood control project to ensure that it will be fully functioning during the onset of the rainy season in June. “We are here to see if it has really been repaired.
