MANILA, Philippines — The low-pressure area (LPA) and the easterlies, or warm winds from the Pacific Ocean, are forecast to bring gloomy skies and scattered rains over parts of the country on Wednesday, July 29, the state weather bureau said. Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) weather specialist Chenel Dominguez said during a 5 a.m. weather advisory that the LPA may bring rains over Metro Manila, Bicol Region, Calabarzon, and parts of Mimaropa.
