Impeached again: House OKs articles vs Sara Duterte again with 255 votes

MANILA, Philippines — Vice President Sara Duterte has been impeached for a second time, after 255 lawmakers from the House of Representatives voted in favor of the committee report which effectively sends the articles of impeachment to the Senate. During the plenary session on Monday, House committee on justice chairperson and Batangas Rep. Gerville Luistro sponsored Committee Report (CR) No. 261 which was distributed to lawmakers last Wednesday.
