MANILA, Philippines โย The Insurance Commission (IC) has ordered a Negros Occidental-based mortuary firm to cease and desist from acting as a pre-need and insurance agent. It added that Haven Sanctuary Mortuary Care Services, OPC allegedly offered pre-need products and services without the required licenses and authority from the regulator. In a Notice to the Public, the IC said the Binalbagan, Negros Occidental-based company had been operating as an agent of Cosmopolitan Climbs Life Plan, Inc. and represented itself as an agent of The Manufacturers Life Insurance Co.
