Groups, leaders launch drive to restore Senate credibility

MANILA, Philippines – Several former and incumbent government officials as well as church and civil society leaders have initiated a signature campaign calling for the “restoration of the integrity and credibility” of the Senate. In a public statement, the signatories said they also support the consensus of the 11-member Senate minority bloc in nominating Sen.
