CEBU CITY, Philippines – Former two-division world champion Marlon “Nightmare” Tapales officially climbed into the featherweight division. Sanman Boxing, Tapales’ promoter, announced the change on Tuesday, May 26. Tapales will likely vacate his chances as the No. 2 contender in the junior featherweight or super bantamweight division that the undisputed world champion Naoya Inoue currently dominates.
