MANILA, Philippines — Former Senator Francis Tolentino has been named as the acting secretary of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), replacing Bienvenido Laguesma, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro announced on Monday. Tolentino will take his oath of office before President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. later in the afternoon in Malacañáng.
