Elena Rybakina overpowered Alex Eala and advanced to the round of 16 in the Italian Open after a 6-4, 6-3 win over the Filipina. Rybakina, who won the title in Rome in 2023, needed an hour and 32 minutes to stop Eala’s run in the WTA 1000 event.
