MANILA, Philippines — The surprise Senate leadership shakeup on Monday has once again placed the impeachment process against Vice President Sara Duterte at the mercy of reactionary political factions, Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (Bayan) said, throwing what was supposed to be a move for accountability into uncertainty anew.
