MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Transportation-Metro Rail Transit 3 (DOTr-MRT3) on Tuesday clarified that condoms will not be distributed to passengers of the train line, noting that its management did not approve the said proposal to do so. This statement came after the proposal of the Department of Health-Philippine National Aids Council (DOH-PNAC) to distribute condoms in the stations’ restrooms. It noted that the DOH-PNAC already apologized to the DOTr-MRT3 “for the confusion” it caused on the implications made that the latter approved the proposal.
