Chinese Taipei stunned erstwhile-unbeaten Kazakhstan, 25-23, 25-16, 25-14, to become the first team to enter the final on Saturday at Candon City Arena here. Setter Liao Yi-Jen anchored her team’s balanced attack to dominate the last two sets and win the game in just 68 minutes.
