MANILA, Philippines — Prior to his unseating as Senate President, Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano sent on Wednesday a memorandum on-paper declaring sine die adjournment. This was confirmed by Majority Leader Sen. Migz Zubiri, who shared with the media the physical copy of the memorandum handed to the first 11 senators present at the session hall, while Cayetano and his allies were absent. The senators on the floor received a copy on the third day of Cayetano and his allies’ so-called “boycott” against the chamber.
