LEGAZPI CITY, Albay — A Quezon City prosecutor has ordered the filing of a cyberlibel case against Catanduanes Gov. Patrick Alain T. Azanza over a Facebook post that allegedly linked a petroleum company to the province’s high electricity costs. In a resolution dated May 6, Assistant City Prosecutor Peter Carlo P. David ordered the filing of an Information against Azanza for alleged violation of Section 4(c)(4) of Republic Act No. 10175, or the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, in relation to Article 353 of the Revised Penal Code.
