TAGBILARAN CITY — Two Boholano athletes brought pride to Central Visayas after capturing gold medals in separate events at the ongoing Palarong Pambansa 2026 in Agusan del Sur. Kristina Concepcion Belano of Calape National High School delivered the first gold medal for Central Visayas after helping the region win the Chess Blitz Team Event in the country’s premier national school sports competition, organized by the Department of Education.
