MANILA, Philippines — A altercation allegedly happened between Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa and the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) at the Senate building on Monday over the senator’s arrest. Senate President Alan Peter Cayetano said the Senate Sergeant-at-Arms “verbally confirmed” that the NBI came to the upper chamber to arrest dela Rosa. However, Cayetano said no information regarding the arrest had reached the Senate.
