CEBU CITY, Philippines โ A grade 6 student from Catmon Integrated School is hoping to win big in the chess competition of the ongoing Palarong Pambansa 2026 that is being held in Agusan del Sur, Mindanao. The Palarong Pambansa was formally opened on Sunday, May 24. John David Coming qualified for the chess competition in the Palarong Pambansa after he showed an outstanding performance during the Central Visayas Regional Athletic Association (CVIRAA) Meet in March this year.
