MANILA, Philippines — At least four new Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) fire inspectors have been relieved from their posts for purported questionable practices, Interior and Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla said on Friday. “Slowly, we are dismantling their system,” he told reporters at the Kapihan ng Samahang Plaridel in Manila on Friday. “The new fire inspectors who came here had body cameras when they operated. If anyone complained, we’d act on it quickly. Since then, we’ve caught four more inspectors,” he detailed.
