MANILA, Philippines —The invitation to the 18 supposed former Marine soldiers and their lawyer, Levito Baligod, to appear before the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee has been withdrawn by its chairperson. This develops as the committee is set to resume its inquiry into the flood control scandal on Thursday.
