Stacked field chases honors at nation’s biggest race

The Group 1 race that captivates Japan and the world is preparing for its 45th run this weekend. The Japan Cup, established in 1981 with the goal of “making strong horses that can compete internationally,” will be held at Tokyo Racecourse on Nov. 30.
